Yesterday was really a great day for AjaxWorkspace because we have finally hit yet another major milestone after few weeks of hardwork. Our homepage which is www.ajaxworkspace.com has had a brand new look and security level has been implemented on tasks and documents module. So, stick with us as we will assure you more surprises in the future. AjaxWorkspace - We Team Up The World!
Our current implementation plan includes building an online collaboration workspace, called AjaxWorkspace. It is a virtual office where user can work, communicate and collaborate with their teammates to complete a task in a centralize location. Users do not need to be physically together in order to accomplish a task. It offers a bunch of collaboration tools to help users to collaborate with each other in a secured online workspace.

We receive some feedback to improve the usability of AJAXWorkspace recently. Most of them are some minor UI Usability issues. Again you request, we listen and we do it. We understand that usability is one of the most important to issues to make our services serve you better. So, we had put most of our effort to improve the usability in coming release. Meanwhile, we also hope to deliver some minor enhancement such on document’s comments and history view in AJAXWorkspace. Stay tune! We will update again when ready!

We also release minor version 1.0.1. This version includes new features called “Contact’s Activity”. We always receive feedbacks from user asking “What is AjaxWorkspace.com? It looks complex! I do not how to start…” So, we decided to draw out the big picture of AjaxWorkspace here.

You can efficiently organize yourself, manage projects and work with your entire enterprise, colleagues and team member from one central location. The ideal tool for any type of project management regardless if you are working in a company or if you are working as freelancer from home.
Workspace owner - Workspace owner create a new collaboration workspace.
Project Members- User added by workspace owner which only has full access right in the certain project but does not allow creating new project.
Workspace Member - User added by workspace owner which has full access right in the workspace including create new project.
I got chance to work in different type of companies in my working life. Basically it can be categorized in to 2 types; either project base or product base. However, I found that most of the project or product development is not being managed well. You can see someone is doing nothing all the time and someone is busy like hell. Manager or top management never knows exactly what the progress is. We do not really have a system to manage, assign task to worker, and keep track the progress of each individual’s task. We always end up with sending, replying email in order to communicate, and sharing files among team members. It was really a terrible experience.
I had spent some of my free time to develop an online collaboration solution for teamwork and project management, ajaxworkspace.com. I know this cannot compare with other professional collaboration tools like groove or SharePoint since this only develop by me alone. However, I hope I can improve it to become better and better.
